The Dolls' House

All decked out for Christmas

All the rooms.

The Front Door

Kitchen - Cook has brought her baby to work.

The Living Room - Where is everybody?
Daddy is calling up the stairs, telling Mama that Grandma has arrived--they're taking her out to dinner!

But Mama Doll is still in the bathtub! (Baby Doll is in his cradle,
minding his own business.)

Lucinda the upstairs maid is admiring the Christmas tree in the study.

Little Dolly has dressed up to go out with the grownups, but
big Camilla knows they won't be allowed. (The girls' room with
their books and dolls.)
***
The house is crowded, with ten people, four cats and two dogs.

***
Merry Christmas from the Family!

Oh Joanne, it is lovely, truly lovely! What love and time you put into it! What stories you could make up about the family! My daughter and I are going to try our hand at one soon. I may be asking for some tips!
Hugs....

Jed: He said he and a friend are building a smaller one. The grand-daughter is only 3 yrs. old, so this house is too big for her.

Thanks, everyone, for your sweet comments.

Deb: I made a lot of the furniture, and some of the dolls, over the past 20 years or so.

One of these days, I'm going to do one. It's going to be a Yellow House with lots of little bitty quilts inside--and dogs.

Joanne-
Hope you read this today...I don't have another e-mail for you, so....HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope you have a wonderful day! I realized this morning that you were born the same year my daddy was.
Much love and tons of hugs,
