My room's first brown was taupe,
The hue of sand and rope.
At first it made me smile,
But only for a while.
Then taupe faded to tan.
So monkey sank to man.
So I'll paint it white or gray.
Nothing brown can stay.

The room looks so pretty and comfortable.
I love the headboard and the curtains/swags and the pillow on the bed! Is this your room? It is really lovely! How could you not feel relaxed and calm in such a room? Wish mine looked as nice.

This is the way it looked when I first decorated it, but the curtains shredded when I washed them, and then turned brown when I didn't wash them again. Now it's just a brown room, and I need to paint it something I like better.
