And I've already cooked eggs and toast for breakfast, done 3 loads of laundry, run one errand, and put the start of a beef roast in the crock pot. And fed Mo several times. Now I've got the misery in my back when I stand up, so I think I'll take the rest of the day off.
I want something good to read, but I've become too picky in my advanced age. I get impatient with most of the stuff that's being written these days.

Don't you just love it when you have gotten up, dressed, fed the animals, eaten breakfast, washed the dishes, gotten dinner in the crock pot, done laundry, dusted and ran the sweeper, ironed and then glanced at the clock and it's 9 a.m.? I really hate days like that!
I understand the back thing.Sometimes I can't be up and doing things for more than 20 minutes before the pain gets to me. Very depressing sometimes.
I don't think that 'advanced age' has anything to do with not liking a great amount of books nowadays. Some books seem to have been written overnight. When I read mysteries and have figured out the plot and 'who did it' before the end of Chapter 1, I don't read Chapter 2!
When will you know how your poems did in the contest? Excited for you I am!
Hope you have a wonderful day!
Hugs always.....
