Is that the one about fly fishing? With Brad Pitt? If so, I didn't like the sad part.
The one about fly fishing is "A River Runs Through It." "Legends of the Fall" is even sadder. Its cast includes Pitt, Anthony Hopkins, Aidan Quinn, Julia Ormond, Tantoo Cardinal, Gordon Tootoosie, and Bart the Bear.
