At poetry meeting, my poem was over-praised, as usual. Maybe it's because I'm the antique relic and they feel sorry for me. Or maybe my poems are pretty good, after all. Either way, it makes me feel strange.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

I have the same issues with complements. I usually react to mild complements with a cold, blank stare.
I don't get a lot of complements.
The kabobs look good.
They needed some meat, just for the flavor. When I use chicken or beef on kabobs, I mostly wind up putting the meat in the refrigerator for a while, and then throwing it away. I miss Gretchen.
I freeze a lot of stuff like that.
I think it's because your poems are good. And those 'bobs look good.
Thanks, Suze.
