I love the gospels best of all. What about How Great Thou Art?

Yes, I love that one, too.

One of my favorite E.P. songs is a jaunty little tune called "Marie's the Name of His Latest Flame." I've always loved that.

And "In the Ghetto" always makes me cry.

But "If I Can Dream" is the best.

There must be lights burning brighter somewhere,
Got to be birds flyng higher in a sky more blue.
If I can dream of a better land
Where all my brothers walk hand in hand,
Tell me why, oh why, oh why can't my dream come true?

There must be peace and understanding somewhere,
Strong winds of promise that will blow away
All the doubt and fear.
If I can dream of a warmer sun,
Where hope keeps shining on everyone,
Tell me why, oh why, oh why won't that sun appear?

Some of them are my favorites just for the beauty of the words and his voice, instead of any deep meaning. The first few bars of "You're So Young and Beautiful" are so pretty, they almost make me cry.
