Banquet vs. Stouffer's

About once a week or so, I get a Banquet frozen lasagna and have it for a couple of meals. Today I decided to splurge on the higher-class Stouffers, much more expensive, but what the heck. It was heavier than the Banquet one, had more meat, had the big noodles and a layer of what I suppose was the cottage cheese. It was also nearer to tasteless than I ever imagined a lasagna could be. So I'll stick with the Banquet. It's delicious.

I'll have to try Banquet. I love Stouffers, so if Banquet is better, I'll love it better. Haven't had lasagna in ages.

I have never had either of those lasagna meals. I make a real easy lasagna that doesn't need the pre-cooked noodles. I just don't know if I could stand the frozen cheese flavor. Maybe I'll get brave and try one!
Hope the heat breaks for you soon. It does suck the life out of you!
Have a good weekend.
Hugs....

Was it Ruth K. or Catherine M. who used to make such wonderful lasagna? The Banquet deal doesn't look much like lasagna, but it tastes so good!

I make incredibly scrumptious lasagna--when I make lasagna. I hate making it, probably because of having to cook the noodles and transfer them. I always have to cook twice as much as I need because I tear half of them up. I need to get Deb's recipe.
Don't remember Ruth making lasagna. Bet it was Catherine since she was Italian.
